Dr. Tanaya is a medic who is passionate about sexual and reproductive health, and likes to put the ‘fun’ in fundamental sex ed! Having amassed almost a million followers, she focuses on busting sexual health myths, and creating candid, engaging, & informative conversations around these “shushed” topics.
After studying medicine in India, Dr. Tanaya then got a masters in assisted reproductive technologies at the University of Oxford, where she was surprised to see the many many medical myths amongst her highly educated peers! This inspired her to start her Instagram channel, @Dr_Cuterus, where she uses fairytales, mannequins, fun GIFs, and hilariously relatable examples to talk about complex medical & sexual education topics, all wrapped up with an inclusive and gender-neutral bow — a safe place where no topic is too taboo to discuss!
